Dan for Model Number GDF630PSM0SS The Sanitize light no longer illuminates, and the sanitize function does not work. I checked the heating element continuity: it seems OK at 23 ohms. I checked that the flood float mechanism is mechanically unconstrained, and it is OK too. It is possible that the trouble was somehow induced by (accidentally) running the dishwasher with its water input shut off, since sanitize has not worked since then. What should I check next?
Answer Dan, It is possible that running without water could have affected the sanitize mode. You will want to put the unit into a cycle and check to make sure that there is power going to the heater. If there is no power to the heater when it should come on then the issue will be the control board.
