Ted for Model Number TFX25PRBA AA I'm looking at P/N AP2057539 "Hinge Cam Riser." The existing piece broke and now the door will not close with just a touch. Could you tell me how difficult it would be to replace it myself. Am Afraid I may be getting alittle over my head.
Answer Hi Ted. This is a relatively simple task. More time consuming then difficult.Remove food or ice from inner door panel. Remove the top door hinge cover. Remove power. Disconnect the electrical plugs. Then mark the hinge placement (easier for realignment). Remove the hinge. Lift the door completely off the lower hinge. Then replace the cam riser and lightly use white grease on the moving pieces. Hinge cam riser part # WR02X10140. On the lower freezer door hinge, you may need to press inward on the John Guess fitting outer clips to release the fountain control water line. Thank You. Read More...
