Scott for Model Number CFE28TSHJSS This is a GE Cafe series refrigerator with french doors up top and a bottom freezer. There is an ice maker in the left refrigerator door. We'd like to add a second ice maker to the bottom freezer. Is the IM6-D the correct unit? Do we need any additional parts other than the ice maker kit?
Answer Hello Scott, I'm sorry but we do not show an icemaker kit for the freezer compartment is available for the model provided. The IM5-D is listed as an optional second icemaker for the freezer compartment but is only listed for for use in select French-door bottom-freezer refrigerators with model numbers beginning with GFE28G, GYE22H, PFE28K & PYE22K.
