Darlene for Model Number TFX22PRXFWW s/n MS201055 What is the year of this fridge? Water is dispensing through the front freezer door but no water is going into the ice tray. Also the curly Q chrome spindle inside the ice bucket has rust. Are we missing something so that water enters the ice tray holders and is it safe to just clean the spindle?
Answer Hello Darlene! This product could have been manufactured July of 1985 or 1997 or 2009. You will have to verify with the manufacture the exact manufactured year. Check the ice maker fill tube and make sure that is has not frozen, this will stop the fill tray from filling. If it is not, replace the ice maker water valve, part number WR57X10051.
