Corey B for Model Number GE PSI23SGNA Water dispenser would not stop on a couple of occasions this week. I know the problem could be something stuck in water valve, or the circuit that provides power to water valve solenoid. Not sure if that would be more likely the main control board or the board on the door? Suggestions? I did find at times there was 120v present at the solenoid valve when the dispenser switch was NOT pressed. Ice maker, solenoid and dispenser works fine.
Answer Hello Corey. You will need to check the micro-switch in the dispenser and see if it is bad and will need to be replaced on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
