Jim H. for Model Number ps27sgress Looks like GE produced a "lemon" as all problems with this refrigerator involve failing ice dispenser, then water, then entire panel quits on freezer section. I have the same problem others have indicated here. Looks like I need to buy new control board AP4436216 and maybe door solenoid for this item that is less than 5 years old and started failing 2 years ago!
Answer Hello Jim. Yes, if there is no power coming to the dispenser, you will need to replace the main control board WR55X10942C. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
