Steve for Model Number GE Dishwasher PDW7800G00BB Dishwasher will not fill with water. There is no power to the water valve or the flood switch. I took the front off and there is no power coming from the control module (control circuit board) on the power switching terminal #2 pink wire. When I go into the service mode and enter the code to test each component I get power for each component other than the test to activate the water valve. Is the control module bad? Or is there another test I need to perform?
Answer Hello Steve. Make sure the float switch is working properly. If so, then you will need to order and replace the control module WD21X10174. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
