Tom for Model Number GE PDW8200J03BB The pump for the wash cycle is not pumping water during its cycle. Last week I was able to run the pump in service mode by holding 2 buttons for the same time for 3 seconds. This week, it is not working either on normal mode or service mode. Do I need to replace the control board or is it possible that I need to replace the main circulation motor?
Answer Hello Tom. Test for power to the pump. If it is there, replace the motor. If it is not there, replace the board. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
