James B for Model Number GE pdw8200j03ww My GE dishwasher is no longer heating - the “sanitized” light does not illuminate after a sanitization wash and the dishes are wet / not hot after any cycle even with the Added Heat option. The heating element is visually fine and has continuity/resistance. I am unable to locate the Thermal Cut Out or temperature sensor from the diagrams and manuals. Is this for certain a control board replacement or is there another part incorporating a temperature sensor / TCO that I’m overlooking?
Answer James, The control board gets the heat signal from the turbidity sensor which has a thermistor located in it. The turbidity sensor is part number WD21X10202 but has been disconitnued by the manufacturer with no suitable replacement available. Read More...
