Brian S for Model Number jsp31gop4wh I have a GE range. The bake temp seems to be 100+ degrees cooler that what I set it for. I changed the temp sensor and this did not solve the problem. Could it be the element or is it likely something else? It does heat but it never glows orange.
Answer Hello Brian. Test the element and make sure it reads closed for continuity. If so, replace the control board inside the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
