Stan for Model Number PSS26SGRBSS Refrigerator doesn't cool down all the way. Fridge section cools to about 44 degrees and freezer section down to 16 degrees. Took off the Start Relay and Overload... the Overload rattles when shook. Is it possible that the Overload is faulty. Is this a symptom of problem described above.
Answer Stan, When the relay is faulty the compressor will not run. I would look more at a defrost issue on the freezer section. Look on the back wall of the freezer and if you see frost start looking for a reason it won't defrost. Possibly heater, defrost thermostat or defrost control board. Read More...
