Joe D for Model Number GSL25JFPABS I replaced the water filter with a compatible replacement from Zuma filters (MWF). It did not come with instructions. It made a noise and stopped dispensing water. I re-installed the original one, which is a Smart Water filter, And it also does not dispense water. I checked the water line and water is on . Did something get reset when I installed the Zuma filter. If so how can I reset it. BTW, I powered the fridge off for about 15 mins.
Answer Joe, You will want to make sure that the water valve is getting power but it sounds like the filter head may be bad and need to be replaced. If you take the filter out and install the filter bypass and try to dispense water. If the unit does not dispenser then the filter head is bad. Read More...
