John C. for Model Number GE refrigide My daughter was replacing her smart water filter first time and it will not stop leaking you can drain the water and it its stops dripping for a few minutes but after a few it drips not much. She installed the old filter and it does the same thing ?
Answer Hello John, This sounds like there is either a seal/"O" ring missing or leaking or the assembly has developed a crack or a seal has failed.
