Ryan B for Model Number ge profile fridge model 25 I replaced the smart water filter. I started on the locked arrow and noticed it was wrong. When I pulled it out it blew water all over and a black or o ring fell out. I looked and all three o rings are where they should be. I put the filter in correctly and it does not leak, but after running water the dispenser drips about about 10 times and then stops. I put the o ring in the area it fit in the top of the filter.
Answer Ryan, You want to make sure that you purge the water line after replacing the water filter. If you do not it can keep air trapped in the lines and cause the dripping issue.
