Mike Replaced filter and after a few days the water stops dispensing. Checked filter and can see frozen water inside the top. Let it thaw and the water flows only to freeze again in a few days. Tried another filter and same thing happens. Could this be the water filter head?
Answer Mike, The water filter head isn't likely. The water is freezing because there's cold air being directed toward it from the freezer. You need to check the damper assembly to see that it opens and closes properly, and make sure there's nothing blocking or redirecting the air flow at the filter head and filter. Read More...
