Frank for Model Number side by side Replaced filter, but no water is coming out. We also threw out ice to see if something was stuck, but no water is coming out. I took the filter out again and replaced it but still no water. Does it take a while for water to come out?
Answer Frank, water should come out of the dispenser shortly after engaging. However, air would be released first as the air from inside of the filter would have to be removed before a steady stream of water will come out (generally around 2 gallons of water would need to be dispensed before all the air is removed). Water should start coming out within 30 seconds along with air pockets. For more accurate information and testing information, the model number would be required in a new inquiry. Read More...
