Mark for Model Number GCG1500RWW When compaction cycle completes, ram at top, loud bumping noise. Doesn't shut off. There are two switches. Which to replace, the directional switch or the top limit switch?
Answer Mark, Check the top limit switch circuit first. There should be an "open" circuit between the blue and brown wire terminals, with the ram in the up position.
