Jacquelyn for Model Number JT3000SF2SS Bought a temperature sensor from you a year or two ago. It’s started acting up again. Baked at 450 for about an hour then got f20 error. Turned off then back on and f20 kept coming back on. Flipped the breaker and worked til I finished cooking. Did seem to see smoke around top of oven. Could not tell if coming from burn unit or sensor?
Answer Jacquelyn, You would want to test the sensor to make sure that it is good. You can test for 1090 ohms at the sensor. If the sensor is good then check the wiring between the board and the sensor. If the wiring is good, you will want to check the oven bake element to make sure that it is good. It should have a resistance reading of between 15 and 25 ohms of resistance. If the element is good then this will be a control board issue. Read More...
