Tammy for Model Number JBP64SH3SS My oven will not heat up. The broiler element will get red but when running the regular over it gets a little warm (pre heat)but that is it. I was looking at the heating element which is number 251, but I was also looking at the sensor #253. Can you tell me if this sensor tells you the temp of the oven even if using broiler or baking element. I was looking at purchasing both items so I can save time if not one its the other and shipping. Thank you for you help in advance.
Answer Hi Tammy. Yes this sensor is for your model. It is part # WB21X22134. It will ohm cold at 1,00 ohms cold. It does regulate the temperature via the clock logic circuit and clock relays. First, check to see if you are getting proper 240 vac to the terminal block. Are you getting 120 vac from L-1 and L-2 to neutral individually ? It is known low voltage or a bad wall outlet will create a heating no heat or partial heat. If so then you are not getting 120 vac from the clock relays. Are the clock relays chattering during heating ? if so it is part # WB27X45466. Is there any fault codes ? Is the clock dim ? Thank You. Read More...
