Hello Diana, F-3 is a shorted or open sensor. This can also be the result of contamination on terminals, a pinched wire in the sensor circuit, or a cold solder joint on the control board. To test the sensor, using an ohm meter the sensor should read about 1100O at about 70°F. Be sure to tap on the sensor while testing in case of an intermittant sensor. The part number shown for this model by GE is WB23T10015.
