Parguy for Model Number GSD4930Z02WW When I run the dishwasher in normal cycle, it does not completely drain all excess water. Most of the water is drained but not all. Usually about a cup of water stays in the bottom. What are the possible remedies?
Answer Hello Parguy, The seal around the drain door inside the pump housing has most likely failed. It is very common when the dishes are rinsed before going into the unit and/or if the unit is over soaped repeatedly, for this seal to get "wavy" and lost its' ability to direct the water flow completely. Since the pump housing has been made no longer available, you will have to order the complete pump and motor assembly WD26X10013 to complete this repair. Read More...
