Tim for Model Number HTW240ASK6WS Washer will put water in for a couple of seconds, stop then put water in for a couple of seconds stops then will put water in like it should. Washes, drain water out and stops won't move on. Notice may have used dish washing liquid, a lot of suds after the first wash and drain. Is there a sensor this may be affecting. Have change main control board still not working properly. Can a bad water level switch be a problem?
Answer Tim, if suds are still occurring, the unit would need to be put through a normal cycle while empty with one cup of vinegar added to the water once the unit has filled. Once the suds have been cleared thoroughly, the unit should operate properly. If not, the next step would be pressing and holding the start button (when the washer is in standby) until all of the LEDs blink. An error code should appear if the main control has identified a failure. If not, the main control WH22X38441C would be the likely cause of failure. Read More...
