Chuck S. for Model Number unk but could be: JP7600 2W1 (last 3 digits uncertain) I have a GE range with a separate counter top electric cooking element. The stove is probably vintage 1975. The -- the 8 inch surface heating element shorted. It is a 3 prong set up (2 separate and 2 connect to make 1 prong). The stove has push button controls. The heating element is screwed into stove on a hinge with a sheet metal screw. The prongs go into a ceramic block. The model may be J P7600 2W1 -- but the last 3 digits are very difficult to read. The serial # is RV742630G. Can you tell me the model identifier for the proper replacement element? Thank you, Chuck S.
