Marie My agitator quit working. Thanks to Google a friend and I figured out it was the coupling that needed replaced. However, now the control button won't stay pushed in. It keeps popping out unless in an off position. Also, I've noticed that when a wash has completed water keeps dripping into the tub. Sometimes not right away but at random times. I've noticed that it seems to do this when the super load size has been used. It is a random issue but still worrisome. I've had my machine for about 8 years and have had issues in the past with it overflowing because of the water level control thingy seemed to be malfunctioning. I had that part replaced to the tune of $80+ just for the part (total rip-off because the machine kept overflowing!). A friend came and cleaned out a "debris net"(?) that was full of sand and it seemed to help for a while. So my question after all this rambling is, what parts do I need to replace for the control knob issue, the water dripping issue, and the over-flow issue?
Answer Marie, for the overflow and dripping it would more than likely be a failing inlet valve. However, we'll need your appliance model number to help determine the available parts and to help further trouble shoot. Please obtain this information and repost for further assistance. Thanks!
