2 Answers Victor, First check the lid switch for operation and the proper circuit. If the washer will fill, wash and drain but not spin, check and/or replace the timer. If the washer doesn't drain or spin, first check the drain pump, then check the water level switch and tube. The washer has to drain and the switch reset to "empty", then the washer can spin. John September 17, 2016 for Model Number WCSR4170D5WW My washer won't spin after emptying the water out. I have checked the hose it is clear and not broken. What should i check next?
1 Answer John, You will want to check the motor to see if there is power getting to the motor when in the spin cycle. If there is no power then the timer would be the issue. If there is power and the motor will turn with no belt on then this would be a brake that is bad on the transmission. Read More...
Marsha A. July 29, 2016 for Model Number WLDSR416F0WC I have taken off the front panel to get to the water level pressure switch. But since you have suggested checking the water pressure switch hose for clogs first, how do I get to hose to check for clogs? Of course I can see the top part of it that is attached to the switch but how do I expose the rest of it. I think it might be clogged because when I try to let the water fill I do not see any water in the hose coming to the switch to activate it. Thanks.
1 Answer Hello Marsha. Just pull the hose off the pressure switch and blow through it. If it is clogged you will feel them in the hose. Read More...

Rick October 03, 2015 for Model Number WJRR417OE1WW My water won't shut off when filling. What part or parts would I need?
1 Answer Rick, If the unit is overfilling, you will want to check the pressure hose and make sure that it is not clogged. If not clogged then the pressure switch is a likely cause for the issue. You can unplug the unit and see if the water continues to flow in. If it does and you have to shut the supply off then the issue would be the water valve. Read More...
Barry A February 14, 2015 for Model Number WJRR4170G1WW I have replaced small hose to selector switch , overflow tube and seal and new pump. still overflows when spinning water out. is the selector switch bad?
1 Answer Barry, Based on the issue with the unit overflowing during the spin cycle, you will want to make sure that the unit is not getting off balance, check the hoses to make sure that they are not leaking and if all checks ok then the pressure switch would most likely be the issue. Read More...
