Doug for Model Number DSS25KGRBWW Water dispenser started to delay turning off when glass removed (about 1 second). This continued to be longer (about 10 seconds) but also intermittent (sometimes only 1 second and sometimes much longer delay). After a week of this symptom, the water stopped working completely and now does not dispense water at all. Should I replace the water valve or the micro switch? If I order both, can I return the part not needed for a refund? The ice maker and ice dispenser and crushed ice all still work fine. Thanks
Answer Hello Doug. Test the switch and see if it is good. Also, make sure the line is not frozen in the freezer door. If all is good, replace the water valve. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
