Z for Model Number GE PSHS6RGXC2SS Forenote: I have no issues with the ice maker/dispenser. When I use the water dispenser, it will intermittently stop dispensing (light stays lit). I release the lever and reengage and the water starts to flow again until I release the lever. Also, if the water is dispensing, the water will randomly, but rarely, run at full flow for a second after releasing the switch.
Answer Z, With the dispenser working intermittently with the water, you would want to check the wiring at the door hinge to make sure that there are no loose or damaged connections but it sounds like it is may be an issue with the main control board.
