John D for Model Number gss22sgress When I push the water dispenser to get water nothing happens. almost sounds like it makes the freezer turn off and the green light dims. Replaced the auger motor thinking it was that but no luck . Any idea ?
Answer John, For this issue you will want to check the wiring at the bottom of the door to make sure that there is not damaged wiring. Take the tape off and have someone push the lever and wiggle each wire to see if it will come on. If it does not then the dispenser control board would likely be the issue. Read More...
