Jeannette A. for Model Number LGUB2642LF3 Several issues. In my cold storage ice maker there is a wire hanging down and the end piece is off of it showing 2 naked wires. I need that piece. I have not had ice for 2 weeks and very slow water flow in door. I replaced filter even though the front panel said filter was fine but still no ice in cold storage ice maker but freezer ice maker is making ice. My lights have not been working in freezer compartment or cold storage compartment. I replaced bulb in cold storage but still no lights in either compartment. I have checked closed door buttons and they are working o.k. What is going on with lights? Any ideas? My LED lights on the front of refrigerator work fine.
Answer Hello Jeannette, The icemaker issue with the hanging wires are most likely the temperature sensor that tells the icemaker when the water is frozen and the unit should cycle. Since no individual parts are available for the icemaker, the complete assembly 243297613 will have to be replaced. The lights not working, since the switch tests good, will be in the main power board 242115279. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, February 19, 2014
