Robert for Model Number PTS25LHS My refrigerator compartment seems to hold temperature and my freezer temperature keeps climbing. I was told it is stuck in the defrost mode, is this the right answer and how can I fix it.
Answer Hello Robert. It does not sound like it is stuck in defrost mode, but could have a defrost problem. You will need to look and see if there is frost build up on the back of the freezer wall. If so, you will need to test the heater WR51X10038 and the thermostat WR50X10068. They should read closed for continuity when cold. If they are good, you will need to replace the main board assembly WR55X10942C. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter.
