Doug for Model Number ge gsh25jgdww Hi my refrigerator/freezer started running warm and after reading about this model I just went and replaced the control board. With no change. The compressor short cycles. runs for about 30 seconds then shuts off for about a minute and repeats. The temp of the frig is about 47 and the freezer about 40. Any guess on what it could be. Temp sensors maybe?
Answer Doug, If the compressor runs for about 30 seconds then shuts off then you will want to check the inverter first to make sure that it is not faulty. If it checks ok then the short cycle would most likely be caused by a bad run winding on the compressor which would require the compressor to be replaced.
