Jerry for Model Number GE PFCS1NFXCSS Both the freezer and fresh food sections started to get warm, up to 45 degrees. Noticed small amount of frost around back wall in freezer, unpluged the unit for about 5 minutes, long enough to get the food out of the freezer and plugged it back up. It started runnning and ran for about 10 minutes and then went into defrost mode and defrosted. I saw the water running in the pan under the unit. After which it started cooling and now is at -1 in the freezer and 35 in the refrig. section (over night). I have it set on 0 and 37 degrees. This is the second time this has happened within a 3 month period. I called GE and was told it just needed to be reset by unplugging it for a few minutes. I find it hard to believe that you would need to have to reset a refrig. by unplugging it every so often. I couldn't get the cover of the coil in the freezer to see if it was completely iced up. What do you think I should check at this point? Thanks
Answer Hello Jerry. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the main board WR55X10956 is bad and will need to be replaced. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, August 14, 2015
