Jane for Model Number ZFSB23DRGSS Original problem is my ice will melt a few days after it is made, it would leak all over so I turn it off and not use it for about 2 years. Then my fresh food side is too cold (+-26 degree). Then after 6 months it is warm (+- 48 degree). The evaporator coil on the Fresh food side is getting lots of frost then after 6 months became block of ice. I have since defrost it manually and change the Thermistor Sensor behind the evaporator and tested sensor ohm its good. But after a few days after fixing the sensor, fridge is still too cold, my fresh vegetable is frozen. Should I change the thermostat ? There are 2 Thermistor sensor in the freezer and 2 in the fresh food side, should I change all the sensor?
Answer Jane, With this issue, you would want to test the thermistors at the control board to make sure that there is good resistance. If the thermistors check ok then the issue will be with the control board otherwise would need to replace the thermistors. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, April 1, 2016
