Steve for Model Number GE PSS26NGPC WW Hello. My refrigerator keeps running and does not shut off. I have verified that the compressor is running. The freezer set point is 4 degrees, but it will fall well below zero degrees. The refrigerator maintains set point at around 37 degrees. I tried increasing the freezer set point to eight degrees, but the compressor keeps running. If I try to increase the freezer set point above 8 degrees, the compressor will shutoff. What is wrong with this thing?
Answer Hello Steve. You will need to test and see if the thermistor WR55X10025 is bad and will need to be replaced. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
