Iblashaun for Model Number FRS6LF7FS3 My coils are frozen over about a year ago i replaced the mainboard. I need to check my thermostat,damper,and thermistor can you tell me what my meter should read and how to test my thermistor. thank you
Answer Iblashaun, this unit does not have a thermistor that operates the defrost. The thermistor on this unit would only be for the cooling of the unit itself. As for the defrost thermostat and the defrost heater you will be checking them for continuity. If there is no continuity then the part would be bad and need to be replaced.
