Ronnie J for Model Number G/E MODEL LSHF6LGZBCBB SERIAL 433407 My ice box stop getting cold I replace the heater defrost, still want drop below 32 degrees. I was told the temp. Sensors could be bad . I was watching a video and it was talking about the ground behind the panel in the freezer . I don't recall the ground will that make a different. How many sensors i need if that might be the problem.
Answer Ronnie, With this issue, you will want to check the evaporator coils to see if there is a good frost pattern. Check to see if the frost pattern is a full even frost pattern from top to bottom. If the frost is only on part of the evaporator coils then this will be a sealed system issue and would need to have service. The temp sensors would most likely not be the issue. Read More...
