Josh for Model Number GSS20IBTAWW Side by Side GE fridge section warmer than usual no matter what temp setting (about 40-42 degrees). Replaced faulty defrost heater 4 years ago. This time, freezer coils look fine (even frost pattern, not a block of ice). I can feel air coming from the fridge damper, although I don't know "how much" air I should be feeling. Is the issue most likely the fridge side temperature sensor? WR55X10025? Thank you!
Answer Josh, It would be a good idea to test the temperature sensor which at that temp should be around 34K ohms of resistance and if it does not check good then this would need replaced. If this checks ok then the issue may be in the damper not fully opening or a fan that is not blowing air properly. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, January 7, 2019
