Dave for Model Number ZICP360SRASS Help,,, After completing the following and checking connections twice my freezer still ices up and refrigerator gets warm: Replaced temperature sensor on evap. coil Replaced defrost heater Replaced Evap. Thermodisc Replaced thermostat Replaced fan motor Replaced Main control board Replaced Inverter Board. I only replaced (1) temperature sensor on the evap coil. Did I miss one? Looks like there is one for the ice maker and one for the refrigerator. Help.....
Answer Dave, there is one thermistor WR55X10025 for the freezer cabin (located near the ice maker), and two thermistors WR55X10025 in the refrigerator section (located behind the left snack drawer). It would be recommended that these thermistors are tested for resistance to identify if there are any that are not operating properly. This can be done from the main control at connection J1. With the refrigerator unplugged and a thermometer in the refrigerator and freezer sections, one probe will go on the brown wire at connection J1 pin 5 and stay there. The other probe would go to the purple wire to test the left refrigerator thermistor, the blue wire for the right refrigerator thermistor, and the red wire for the freezer thermistor. Read More...
