Thomas for Model Number PFS22MBSBWW I had to replace the Control Panel and Compressor and now the refrigerator is running fine but the fresh food compartment is set at 37 but sometimes goes down to 36. The refrigerator seems to run a long time before it will shut off. Seems to run longer than before the Control Panel and compressor was replaced. Would the Temperature Sensor need replaced in the fresh food section? Thank You
Answer Thomas, thanks for the question. It is normal that the temperature can vary by a degree or even a few at any point during the operation of the refrigerator. It is the long run time that may be of concern. It could indicate a leak in the sealed system or an improper freon charge. If both of those are checked and appear ok, I would not be too concerned as 134a is not the most stable of freons and can vary from charge to charge. Read More...
