Kimberly for Model Number GE GSH25JSTA SS My GE refrigerator model GSH25JSTA SS is getting too cold even on the lowest setting. What Temperature Sensors should I replace? Please provide the part number(s) and location. Also I saw the video. Would I cut wire and use butt connectors for the sensor on the refrigerator side also. It seems to have the wires in a plastic plug. If I need to cut the wire but size butt connectors are needed?
Answer Kimberly, The sensor replacements are the same part number for the one in the fresh food section and the one in the freezer section. it would be recommended that you check them with a multimeter prior to replacing them to determine if they are bad or if it is something else causing the issue.
