John for Model Number ziss480drass GE Monagram 48" My unit is set at 0F freezer and 37F for the fridge. The freezer temp varies from 0F to -6F The fridge temp varies from 46F to 52F Does this unit have a thermistor on the evaporator coil that could be causing this problem? If not what else could cause the problem?
Answer John, Thanks for the question!!! The evaporator sensor would not affect the fridge temp without affecting the freezer. The is a temp sensor for the fridge compartment. It should be located on the side wall of the fridge compartment, under a little football-shaped grill cover. This is the most likely issue as it tells the damper when to open and close. Read More...
