Sara for Model Number GYE22KMHGES Ice builds up on the bottom of the freezer compartment and will eventually leak water at the corners of the door onto the floor. I suspect it is something with the drain line but not sure. I don't know how to remove the freezer drawer to get access to the back of the freezer compartment. What are causes to the ice build up and is there a video available on removing the drawer?
Answer Sara, there is a repair video on the defrost heater WR51X10131 page that can be used as a reference for accessing where the defrost drain starts. This can get clogged up by dust in the compressor section behind the appliance and it would need to be cleared using hot tap water. The tap water can be applied through the evaporator drip pan with a turkey baster to reduce the mess that the water will cause.
