Joe O for Model Number PTS25LBMARCC - GE Profile Arctica - vertical I've replaced the motherboard and defrost limiter thermostat. The heater element shows continuity, so it's still good. I am zeroing in on the temp. thermisters as the source of the problem (my fridge isn't cooling, freezer section is OK). My fridge has three temp. thermisters; 2 in the freezer and 1 in the fridge section. Is it the one in the fridge section that is likely faulty? thank you,
Answer Joe, Yes, if there's a faulty thermistor, it would be in the refrigerator compartment WR55X10025, If the freezer is operating properly and maintaining temperature, the evaporator thermister and freezer thermistor are working. The possibility of an intermittent evaporator fan motor WR60X10185 or an issue in the air tunnel WR02X10874 and WR02X10875, there could be ice or some other type blockage in the tunnel, restricting the air flow to the refrigerator compartment.
