Yuri Z for Model Number ESS22XGMCC My freezer gradually started to get warmer over a two day period until there was no longer any refrigeration. Do the thermistors have to be replaced?
Answer Hello Yuri, You will want to check to make sure that your compressor is running. If not running you will want to check to see if it is trying to start. It sounds like it could be a bad start relay or possibly no power to the compressor being a bad control board. You can check to see if compressor is getting power from the control board on the 3 pin spade connector from compressor to neutral. There should be 120vac at this point. If not then it would be a bad control board. Also unplug unit and wait 30 seconds to make sure it is not stuck in defrost. If unit comes back on then replace the control board. Read More...
