Lisa for Model Number PFSS5NFWA SS How much should the temps fluctuate. Since 11/2012 I have replaced the mother board , fan freezer, and electrical damper. This morning the there was no display on the LCD and then it came on. Food is freezing. What else could the problem be?
Answer Lisa, You will want to check your thermistors for proper resistance. The resistance values of the thermistor should be at 0 degrees 42.5K ohms, at 37 degrees 14K ohms and at 77 degrees 5Kohms. If outside this range then the thermistor is faulty and would need to be replaced. If they check ok then the temp control board would be bad. Read More...
