Tim, You will want to remove the rear cover in the freezer compartment and check to see if the coils are impacted with ice. If they are then you would want to do a continuity test on the defrost heater and thermostat. If either does not have continuity then you will need to replace that part. If they both check ok then you would want to test the defrost thermistor to make sure that it is within range. At 0 degrees the thermistor should have 42.5K ohms of resistance. If outside of range then replace the thermistor. If the coils do not have frost impacted on them then you will want to check the damper assembly for proper opening and closing and test the thermistor in the refrigerator compartment. It should read approximately 14K ohms at 37 degrees and if outside this range then replace the thermistor. If the damper is not opening and closing properly then replace the damper. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
