Tom for Model Number gss25sgrbss The water won't come out of the water dispencer I replaced both solenoids, and can't find out if theres a frozen water line or how to check. it makes ice but no water. I have a pool of water thats turns into ice in the freezer bottom but don't know if that has any thing to do with it.
Answer Tom, The water on the bottom of the freezer compartment is usually an indication of a clogged drain line. If you pull the lower basket out you can clean the ice from the drain and flush with hot water. For the dispenser water not working, you will want to pull the kickplate off and there will be a water line connection at the bottom. Disconnect the water line connection and put the dispenser to water. Push on the dispenser lever and if water comes out then the dispenser water line is frozen in which you can get the dispenser heater kit WR49X10173 which will correct the issue. Read More...
