Elias I. for Model Number WHDSR209DAWW The washer is working everything is OK. It drains the water but dos not spin?
Answer Hi Elias. Remove the control panel back. Disconnect the pressure switch hose. Blow back into the tub and see if you remove debris stuck in the bottom of the tub area. Use a same size hose and blow into the pressure switch at the same time you advance it into a spin. If it spins now then you know there is a obstruction inside the hose or where the tub hose hooks into the side of the tub. You may need to remove the inner basket and see if you can use a shop vac to clear all debris there in this outer tub pocket area. A clogged dryer vent will allow lint to be redistributed into the washer. Find the pressure switch #7 and the # 16 wires and disconnect them. Tape them together and see if the unit spins now. If it does then the pressure switch needs replaced . Part # WH12X10076. If you can start the belt carefully and get the unit to spin then replace the transmission. Thank You. Read More...
