Hello James. If the unit drains without the pump being on, you need to check for siphoning due to drain hose to far inside the drain pipe in the house.

Hello Possum, You either have a bad motor in the timer or a bad contact that provides the voltage to the timer motor. These contacts are also in the timer so, I believe the timer WH12X10296 replacement will correct the issue.

Hi Elias. Remove the control panel back. Disconnect the pressure switch hose. Blow back into the tub and see if you remove debris stuck in the bottom of the tub area. Use a same size hose and blow into the pressure switch at the same time you advance it into a spin. If it spins now then you know there is a obstruction inside the hose or where the tub hose hooks into the side of the tub. You may need to remove the inner basket and see if you can use a shop vac to clear all debris there in this outer tub pocket area. A clogged dryer vent will allow lint to be redistributed into the washer. Find the pressure switch #7 and the # 16 wires and disconnect them. Tape them together and see if the unit spins now. If it does then the pressure switch needs replaced . Part # WH12X10076. If you can start the belt carefully and get the unit to spin then replace the transmission. Thank You.

Hello Teresa! Make sure that the lid is aligned properly. Also check the lid switch assembly WH12X10531. You should hear a clicking noise when the lid is being shut, this is an indication that the lid switch is activated. Hope this information helps!

Hello Alfred. It sounds like you may have a bad timer. If the washer fills, drains, and spins, then the lid switch should be ok. Does the motor try to run for the wash cycle? If it does not, I would replace the timer. Hope this helps.
