Tracy Hello. I pulled the tip out with the needlenose pliers but no matter how far I pull it out, the pliers are taking the space between the shaft and the knob, so it won't click! If the timer was solid in its backing then it would be easier, but it pushes in and/or the plier is taking up 1/4 inch so it won't click. It almost seems impossible for me at the moment. I would love to kow the best way to still do wash until I can figure this out. How best to turn the white plastic piece on the shaft inside on timer. Thank you!
Answer Hello Tracy. Is the timer loose? You only need to pull the clip out to remove the knob. Once the old knob is removed, you can slide the clip on the new knob, and push it onto the timer shaft. Hope this helps. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, March 25, 2011
